Prospects and the academy

Young players with potential, weekly scout reveals, and what to trust.

Prospects are young players whose current ability is low but whose potential is higher. They're the long game: cheap now, valuable if they develop.

Five slots, weekly reveals

Your academy holds five slots. Each week, the scout reveals two or three new candidates aged 15 to 17 for you to look over.

What a reveal shows

A reveal never hands you exact numbers. Instead you get a current-ability range and a potential range, plus a scout note, a personality tag, and a development risk. The higher the development risk, the wider those ranges and the more volatile the player is likely to be. A reveal expires after 48 hours, so a candidate you sit on disappears from the sheet.

What to do

You can field a prospect like any other player. Playing time and time itself move a prospect toward its potential. Potential is a ceiling, not a promise.

What can go wrong

Not every prospect makes it. Selling early locks in a safe return; holding risks a stall but keeps the upside. Because every player exists once, a breakout prospect is genuinely scarce.
