Troubleshooting
Why did my offer fail?
The common reasons a direct offer doesn't go through.
A direct offer can fail for a handful of clear reasons.
Common causes
- The buyer can't afford it.Accepting would push the buyer's available budget below zero.
- The seller can't afford it.If cash flows back to the buyer as part of the deal, the seller's side needs to cover it too.
- The offer exceeds your budget. Your available budget, not your total, is what has to cover it.
- More than two players are on one side. An offer is capped at 2 players per side, cash included on top.
- The offer expired. An offer that isn't accepted, rejected, or countered lapses after 48 hours.
- The cash split would leave a side negative.Neither club can end up owing money it doesn't have.
What to do
Check the rejection reason first; nothing fails silently. Then confirm both sides' available budgets and the player count before sending again. See Direct offers and Budget and reservations.
