Star ratings

How a simple league shows a player as stars, and what the faint stars mean.

In a simple league, the scout doesn't hand you a full attribute table. Instead a player gets a single overall judgement, shown as stars: up to five, in half-star steps. More stars means a better player.

Reading the stars

The solid stars are how good the player is right now. A fainter star past them shows potential: the room the player still has to grow toward the ceiling they were generated with. It's a hint, not a guarantee.

Solid stars are the player now; the faint stars show the room left to grow

Stars are the display

Stars are how a simple league shows a player. How much detail the match itself simulates is set by the league's complexity, from simple up to deep: see Player attributes.
