Every matchday you field eleven players plus a bench. The lineup screen lays them out on your chosen formation, and you can rearrange or swap anyone before the deadline.
Auto-lineup
If you don't set a lineup yourself, an auto-lineup fills a legal team for you from your available squad. It's a safety net for a missed deadline, not a substitute for picking your best XI.
Unavailable players
A player who's unavailable, through injury, suspension, or another cause, can't be picked. The lineup screen makes this clear before you submit, so you won't discover it after the whistle.
